My name is Patrick Ruvalcaba.

I was born and raised in Vancouver, graduating from The University of British Columbia.

As the eldest of 7 children, I always felt an innate responsibility to help my young family grow and be prepared for the future. I’ve always been observant, responsible, and trying to get the most for our money.

Within the first years of my university career, I developed a passion for finance and knew I would want to pursue a career in the sector. I wasn’t sure if banking was going to be for me, I couldn’t see myself pushing a sub-par product such as Mutual Funds to the everyday person.

Whilst searching for a career that was fulfilling and in finance, I had a brief discussion with my father’s peer… A Mexican immigrant just like my father, this man had been sold the dream of owning a home but hadn’t understood what the terms of the mortgage actually meant and was paying too much interest.

I had my “EUREKA!” moment, I could follow my passion in finance while helping people find the mortgage that truly benefits them.
